1. Caring for Your Crystals (Bracelets, Stones & More)

Crystals absorb, store, and transmit energy. To keep them working at their best, they need to be regularly cleansed (to clear old energy) and charged (to restore their power).

A. Cleansing Your Crystals: Clearing the Energy

We recommend cleansing your crystals as soon as you receive them, and then at least once a month.

Safe & Recommended Methods (Suitable for All Crystals):

  • Sound Cleansing: Use the vibrations from a singing bowl, a bell, or by chanting mantras like "Om" near your crystals. The sound waves will clear any stagnant energy.

  • Smoke Cleansing: Light a sage bundle, palo santo stick, or an incense stick (dhoop/agarbatti) and allow the smoke to pass over your crystals for 30-60 seconds.

  • Moonlight: Place your crystals on a windowsill or outdoors overnight during a Full Moon or New Moon. Moonlight is a gentle and powerful way to cleanse and charge them simultaneously.

  • Using Other Crystals: Store your crystals on a Selenite charging plate or next to a large Clear Quartz cluster. These crystals are known to cleanse and purify others.

Methods to Use with Caution:

  • Sunlight: While powerful, direct sunlight can cause the colors of some crystals like Amethyst, Rose Quartz, and Fluorite to fade over time. If using sunlight, limit it to an hour or two during the early morning.

  • Water: Important: Not all crystals are water-safe. Soaking can damage soft or porous stones.

    • Water-Safe Crystals: Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Smokey Quartz, Citrine. (Use running tap water for a minute).

    • Crystals to KEEP DRY: Selenite, Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, Pyrite, Hematite.

B. Charging Your Crystals: Restoring Their Power

After cleansing, you can charge your crystal with your intention.

  • Hold the crystal in your hands, close your eyes, and think about what you want its help with (e.g., "Please help me stay calm," or "Help me focus on my goals").

  • You can also charge it using the Moonlight method described above.

C. Physical Care for Crystal Jewelry

  • Put your bracelet on by gently rolling it over your hand, not by stretching the elastic band.

  • Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals.

  • Remove your jewelry before swimming or bathing.

2. Caring for Your Sacred Rudraksha

Rudraksha beads are sacred seeds that require respectful handling.

  • Conditioning (Optional): Before wearing for the first time, you can apply a small amount of ghee or almond oil to the bead. This preserves its quality.

  • Regular Cleaning: If needed, clean your Rudraksha with lukewarm water and a soft, unused toothbrush to remove any dust. Let it dry completely.

  • Energizing: Keep your Rudraksha at your home altar when not in use. Chanting "Om Namah Shivaya" 108 times can help maintain its energy.

  • What to Avoid: It is traditionally advised to avoid wearing Rudraksha while sleeping or to funeral grounds. Remove it before taking a bath to protect it from soaps.

3. Caring for Your Divine Yantras

A Yantra is a sacred geometric diagram that acts as a focal point for divine energies.

  • Placement: Place your Yantra on a clean shelf or altar in your home or office. The ideal direction is usually on a North or East wall.

  • Respect: Treat the Yantra with respect. Keep the area around it clean. Avoid touching the Yantra itself frequently.
